Packing for travel can drive any girl crazy, “Do I bring this dress, those jeans and which pairs of shoes?”  The hardest and most weighted decision can often be the shoes – how many pairs and which colour? And, with airlines continually making it more expensive for overweight and extra baggage, you want to make the right choices.

We have found some great footwear solutions to help you pack light for travel, making sure to have the right shoes for every occasion.  

Comfy Shoes for Every Occasion:
If you are planning on doing lots of walking or hiking while travelling you need a comfortable yet supportive and safe pair of shoes.  One of the brands we love the most combining both style and functionality is ECCO.  (I know I always say fashion over function, but it’s a real bonus when you can get it all!)

ECCO seems to make several shoes perfect for any travel situation, whether you’re spending all day shopping around a big city, hiking in the forest, playing a game of golf or having a fun night out.

After Party Shoes:
Tired of leaving all-night parties after sightseeing all day with 4-ich heals and all you want to do is rip them off and walk home to your hostel barefooted? The coolest addition to footwear is the fold-up portable ballerina shoe from companies like SOS (Save Our Soles)  and Flexi Flats.

You could even wear these shoes every day of the week, while out on day trips or relaxing on airplanes, but they are great to carry in your purse while you party for some late-night foot recovery.

If you’re looking to really lighten your load pack a few different styles and colours and save heaps of room and weight in your baggage.

One Sole:
Another remedy for us girls who love to have shoes to match every outfit, but can’t fit them all in the bag is Onesoul.  These shoes are really cool because all you need is one or two of their unique soles and you can buy all different styles of snap-on tops to fit the same sole.
