Artist Heather Brown Creates Cool Surf-Inspired Collection for Rip Curl's New Eco Range

Californian Artist brings new shades of colour to Rip Curl

From Hawaii to Costa Rica to Tahiti, Heather Brown paints her exotic wanderings on Rip Curl’s latest eco range.

She is the latest to join Rip Curl’s Artist of the Search series creating art-inspired surfwear.

Last year Rip Curl sent Heather on a conservation tour to Tahiti together with Tahitian free-surfer Hanalei Reponty.

Not only did they raise awareness for the plight of the Pacific Ocean coral, Heather Brown also discovered Hanalei Reponty to be her very own Muse. Yes, that’s right, that surfer girl on the collection is Hanalei. And as you can see, Hanalei’s natural beauty and spontaneity comes to life through Heather’s artwork.

Like for Hanalei and Heather, the beach, the reef and the ocean is the surfer’s playground. And close to every surfer’s heart is the natural environment. So it’s only natural that the collection is produced with recycled PET (plastic bottles) and organic cotton.

Now, you can inspire your wardrobe with a touch of freedom and exotic surf destinations and feel good about it.
