ExplorerGirls fitness guru and personal trainer Carlie Simonds gives feedback on her latest new fitness gadget – TRX Suspension Training. This just might be all you need to stay fit on the road and keep up your resistance training regime!
Hey girls. I’ve recently started using an awesome piece of exercise equipment called TRX Suspension Training. I bought it about four weeks ago and have been using it lots and loving it.

It is really versatile. So far I have used it in my gym, in my living room, at a park and at the beach. You can use it anywhere where you can find a high horizontal bar (above head height) or a vertical pole. If you also get the Door Anchor (which I did), you can even attach it to a door, so you could use it in your home or in a hotel room. That means you can keep fit even when you are on vacation or travelling for work.
The TRX Pro Pack contains a training DVD and workout guide as well as a drawstring bag so it’s easy to carry around. There are exercises to do for every part of your body. The TRX is especially great for core strength. You’ll be working your core when you do all the exercises. But
After completing the specific core exercises my abs were sore for 3 days! So I definitely feel like it is working.
The exercises are functional as you use your own body weight against gravity as resistance. The TRX helps improve sports performance, particularly in outdoor adventure sports. It's the perfect training tool for sports including surfing, snowboarding, skiing, golf, tennis, rock climbing and mountaineering where leg, arm and core strength is needed.
Working as a personal trainer I have been using it in many of my one-on-one and group sessions, as well as my own workouts. The TRX would be ideal for personal trainers to use too, as it is so versatile and can be used both indoors and outdoors.
If you are keen to get your hands on your own TRX click on the link below (remember to also get a Door Anchor if you want to use it inside)…
