Ocean Star Chistina DiMari Truly Inspiring

Here at ExplorerGirls.com, we love exciting stories about inspiring women such as Christina DiMari.

Christina’s talent and enthusiasm have led her to start her own line of gift-wares, write books and travel the world!

Christina has turned her passions for drawing and painting into a thriving business, and she now runs workshops to teach other women how they can unlock their own potential!

Adventure Goddess!

ExplorerGirls.com loves that Christina is an adventure girl! She has lived in castles in Austria and helped street-kids in the Philippines.  Her love of travel, writing, art and photography has led her across the world to France, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece.

From scribbling to selling!

Christina is founder and president of Ocean Star Gifts, a line of greeting cards and gifts sold in Resorts, Surf Shops and Beach Stores throughout the United States and the Caribbean.  What started as Christina’s childhood pastime of drawing, painting, cutting and pasting has now turned into a thriving business!

ExplorerGirls.com loves that Ocean Star Gifts was inspired by a love of the ocean.

Holistic, spiritual guide!

Christina’s work with street-kids in the Philippines led to her involvement with creating a safe-haven for abandoned children. It also inspired her to begin the You’re Designed to Shine workshops.

You’re Designed to Shine happens on beaches throughout America, where girls of all backgrounds can gather together and be inspired to live the life of their dreams.

Using the five pieces of the star as inspiration, Christina’s work focuses on the Spirit, Mind, Heart, Body and Resources to create a balanced, holistic approach to life-coaching. By integrating art, sand, sticks, waves and lots of laughter, Christina encourages girls to be the best they can.

But wait, there’s more!

And as if that’s not enough, Christina has also recently written a memoir, Ocean Star!

It's a book designed to inspire women all over the world to fulfill their dreams.

Christina can only reach a certain amount of people through her workshops, but she hopes that her memoir will touch people’s lives all over the world.

Christina says, “We each have a destiny to be discovered, a light that is meant to shine and a journey before us yet to be explored. I hope my readers will look up to the possibilities in their future and discover Pearls for the Journey from unexpected people and places along the way.”

The fine print!

Christina DiMari majored in cross-cultural studies and social work at Simpson College, before completing a major in corrective body work therapy at NHI. She has been married to her husband, Michael, for nineteen years and loves being a mom to her very active teenage sons, Jake and Trevor.
