Hey Girls,
I know everyday should be Earth Day, but at least there is one special day set aside to celebrate Mother Earth. And, that day (for the US and some other countries) is April 22nd!
Have you thought about what your going to do this Earth Day? What resolutions to make for the following year? To recycle more, plant a few trees, volunteer once a month with an organization, help educate others, reduce your use of water, produce less trash.....etc.
From what the scientists are telling us, the Earth Alert is sounding...whoop, whoop, whoop! It's time we all, including us ExplorerGirls, set a few resolutions to make Earth Day everday in our lives. If anyone has some cool ideas on how to reduce your footprint on the world while going through your daily lives or while traveling we invite you to start a Forum Thread and share your insite with others.
I would think many would agree, as travel and thrill seekers around the world, we want to keep our environment sustainalbe for our future travels and for our children and grandchildren to enjoy one day many years from now. It won't happen overnight, but every little bit helps.
Just think, if each of us makes 5 Earth Day Resolutions to Stick by....what impact we might make!!
ExplorerGirls Earth Day Resolutions
1. To Strive to create a paperless work place.
2. To cut minutes off each shower.
3. To Always Use recyclable Green Bags (cloth bags) when shopping.
4. To Make a Compost in our back yard (for Rubbish).
5. To take part in more sports that don't use fuel. (and walk everywhere we can)
