I find the best travel tip I can offer off the top of my head is "always pack flip flops (or thongs)". You can use them in the shower in grungy bathrooms at hostels, you can use them as slippers in the middle of the night...or you can simply wear them everyday till they fall apart and get a new pair, if weather permits. Also, major bonus! They look good with jeans, shorts, skirts, just about anything and they fit really well in suitcases...so you can bring a few different colours if you want! And, if you loose them....they usally don't const too much! |

Hey! I totally agree...one of my best buys for travel is my noise canceling headphones. I don't board a plane with out them! No engine noise and great sound for the movies!! (and avoiding unwanted conversations...when your not in the mood!) |

Tying in to the "don't forget your flip flops," DON'T FORGET A PASHMINA! Something I have always found super useful. 1) It keeps you warm on the plane. 2) Can dress up an outfit 3) Can double as a shawl in countries where you need to cover up. |
