He said she said...... please comment

What is appropriate blogging? Really, should I be asking opinions on the world wide web? And when you have a freind in crisis, is it appropriate to talk to one other freind (who is also concerned about the freind in crisis) about the crisis and what should we do? Isn't that what girls do? So why do I feel like I am in highschool? I mean I know that what I was talking about was not gossip, and when unable to contact the person in crisis, leaving cards of well wishes and gifts of smelly make you feel better in hospital items were thoughtful and only done in genuine concern for the freind. So what happens when it becomes "He said she said" round and round circle talk? I feel that I ought to opt out, that I said my bit and I said it honestly and up front, and now that its coming around again, I feel like I am in bloody grade 10! So what is the go? Do we NOT care? Do we NOT be honest with our freinds (purely the kind of honest that is not going to offend or hurt feelings) and skirt around issues and talk about the weather? I am at the stage where I will ONLY talk about the weather. But is that best for my freind? When I am offered kind words of concern, I take it on board and have a good think about it. I know we are all different, but isn't the world like it is because we are afraid to talk about anything REAL and we only want to talk about the weather? Isn't weather talking the reason that people say "Oh, I didn't think she would kill herself, she always seemed so normal when we talked about the WEATHER??"

Please, tell me what you think. Do I continue talking about whats REAL (with tact and genuine intent) or do I head into the weather talking?

What do YOU DO?
