Hi Alicia, I've actually done 4 contiki tours and they are awesome I can highly recommend them you will meet tonnes of great people and probably even make some friends for life i still keep in contact with a bunch of people i met on contiki tours. As far as advice goes depends what tour your doing in Europe is the Camping one? Or the budget one or the Superior one?
I did the budget one where you stay in cabins and chalets etc...that was great. I did a 30 day tour. I can definetly tell you to make sure to pack an adaptor so you can plug in electrical stuff, also make sure to have enough money like Euro's you will rarely get a chance to get to a bank. I dont recommend travellers cheques just cash I know its kinda dangerous travelling with cash but if you hide it somewhere its all good or with contiki pretty much everything is paid for so you really only need a little cash and you can use visa card to buy souviners etc...as most stores accept visa or mastercard so what i did was put money on my credit card so i had credit on there to spend while travelling. Most people take suitcases for the superior trips or budget trips or they tend to take backpacks which is a lot more easy. And i remember i had to take a sleeping bag. Since it will be summer i recommend packing light cotton clothing such as shorts and t-shirts and maybe one or two nice dresses or something to wear of an evening to go out to dinner as it will be super hot. Also a water bottle comes in very handy as you can just refill it where ever you go rather then spending massive amounts on buy drinks. I hope this helps you out if you have any other questions feel free to email me or send me a message. Enjoy Europe. Corinne

Thank-you so much!
I am doing a 14 day budget tour through Europe, I'm so excited! This may be a dumb question, but WHERE do you buy an adaptor for electronics :P |

The budget tours are just great you will have an awesome time. You can buy an adaptor for electronics at any department store or electronic store and they even have them at most airports. They are pretty cheap. Have the best time in Europe.
