Britain's 24hr, 3 Peaks Challenge; Start Climbing!! (Sat 27th-28th)

Die Hard Trilogy: Three Peaks

Sat 27th -Sun 28th September: last chance this year to get involved in Britain’s 3 Peaks Challenge!

No, it’s not the director’s cut of a Bruce Willis movie. It’s your last chance to take part in one of the great three peaks’ climbs in Britain this year!

The Three Peaks Challenge is like something out of The Amazing Race. Teams of climbers ascend the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. Each climb takes roughly five hours, and so does the drive between peaks, so each team designates climbers and drivers to work as a tag team. The mountains climbed are Ben Nevis in Scotland, Snowdon in Wales and Stafell Pike in England.

There are roughly six, three peak competitions each year and the Die Hard Trilogy is your last chance to get in for 2008.

You can register your interest, get more info or even join an existing team.

Happy Climbing!
