Free Beretta Girl Action Shooting event ; Sunday 12th October, Melbourne AUS

Come and join us at the Beretta Girl Action Shooting event on Sunday 12th October FREE to ExplorerGirls Members. (Get the code for registration below!)

Fun, Food & Friendship, an event and social club in Melbourne, Australia and Beretta are offering an opportunity for women to get out and learn more about the sport of shooting and help fight breast cancer.

This event is for unlicensed shooters and is strictly reserved for the girls. Enjoy the fun, enjoy the action, and have a go at a fascinating sport.

The shooting is completely free: all targets/shotguns/shooting vests and instructors will all be provided for FREE. Lunch at own expense which can be purchased at the Melbourne Gun Club house at really affordable prices. Every girl will also receive a show bag with a bracelet, some flyers, a magazine and some other goodies….

FFF recommends to wear runners, polo t-shirt and comfortable jeans/shorts.

There will be a first round of 5 shots for each girl in the morning and another one in the afternoon, attendance permitting. Last year they managed two rounds and hopefully it will be the same this year but it will all depend on the number of girls/women that attend.

If you have never shot in your life, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best shooters in the world: Lauryn Mark and Russell Mark to start with, and others will follow. If you like the idea of learning how to shoot, there is no better opportunity to learn from the very best shooters in the World!

The club is located near Lilydale, Victoria in Australia (see map).  Start time 11:15, ending around 3:30.

Although it is advertised as a members only event, FFF have organised a special booking reference for ExplorerGirls to book online. The memberhip number MCEXP and password 'explorer' will allow any member of ExplorerGirls to book and participate in this event for free.

Also a shooting competition, taking place around lunch time, will involve:

1) Hockey Team: Olympic Gold Medallists Claire Mitchell Taverner and Louise Dobson joined by former Australian Team Member Cat McCorkle.

2) Politicians Team: Former aerial ski World Champion (17 World Cup Gold Medals!) turned-politician Kirstie Marshall will captain a team of fierce female politicians.

3) All Star: World Aerobic Champion Sue Stanley is putting together a never seen before team of All Stars.

4) Media Team: BGA II will surprise you with an unbelievable team of stars from the most popular TV news.

Every Team will have a fourth spot which will be auctioned for those who dare to challenge their sporting hero. All the funds raised will be donated to the McGrath Foundation to help the organisation in its extraordinary battle against breast cancer.

Men welcome to observe.
