Hello Ladies,

Some of you may have heard of the Wilderness Walk for Whales. Jan/Feb '09  along the SE coast of Australia 600kms solo to raise support and awareness for Sea Shepherd and their Antarctic Whale Defence Campaign.

Well, I'm planning another one, Walk Against Whaling. This will be Sept-Nov '09 from the Sea Shepherd Melbourne office to Newcastle via Canberra Parliament House to petition Rudd and Garrett to honour their promise to protect the Australian Whale Sanctuary from the Japanese whaling fleet.

The walk is in the very early stages of planning but if you are enroute from Melbourne to Albury via Yea, Albury to Canberra via Thredbo, Canberra to Newcastle via Tathra and the coast and are interested in getting involved with a local film and information night or school talk or can help in any small way please let me know.
