This is an unique experience 2 live for every bodyboarder or surfer girl. Hawaii is a paradise and its waves are the most beautiful in the world.

This was the first contest of the World bodyboarding Tour of the BIA (Bodyboarding International Association).

The contest started on March 31st of 2009 at 8am with 4-6 feet solid waves. More than 72 bodyboarder girls from different countries showed their different skills, talents and styles.

I was the only peruvian bodyboarder and it was my first time competing at pipeline, Linda Molina, one of my best friends, was the only one representing Chile. Lumar and Ruth from Venezuela and Luz Marie and Natasha from Puerto Rico. Also aussie girls like Lilly, Emma and Kaitlin were there. Monica Dellamore and Tara Parsons showed the power of the California girls. And a lots of ripper girls from Brazil and Japan!!!

I hope next year more latinamerican girls will participate.
