KRA Germany Mission continues...

So after a mega mission to get to the ferry port, with some great help from sat nav, we made it into the last space with minutes to go! As soon as we got on the ferry set off! Nice!! We managed to get a well deserved cabin and slept sooooo well!! A super hot shower in the morning and then we set off across Holland and Germany.

The journey is meant to take 6 hrs but took us 12 as there were soooooo many traffic jams! Horrific!!! We went through several stages of boredom, exhausted all our music, got out of the van to run up the road and take pictures of the Lutus’s and Ferrari’s that were surrounding us and wrote some HILARIOUS articles for Kitesurf Mag! What a productive drive!!

Wilson being chatted up by Ferrari man!

When we eventually reached St Peter Ording and the event site, we were glad we had not missed any competition as the event site had flooded with a high spring tide and stong onshore wind. So we grabbed fish and chips and set up the Bongo for bed. We had some running repairs to do on the roof tent canvas so a roll of duck tape and a plastic bag came in very handy!!

Repairs!!

Stuggling with the douvet cover!!!

Bongo finally tidy...ish!

So today the wind picked up in the morning but only enough for a couple of guys heats and the freestyle was then postponed again. The day has been spent catching up with everyone and putting my new Balance board together!
So fingers crossed for the wind tomorrow ☺ Bring it on!
