NM Snowkiting 2010 took place on Haugastøl / Hardangervidda 11-14mars. 

Hardangervidda proved from its best side, with sun and wind every day. The event began Thursday night, and it flowed on with people in the cafe. It was shown kite movie, and people had signed up in order. 
 

Friday was the events first competition day, the weather was good, the sun was shining and the wind was blowing on the plateau. After a race meeting, went to Ørteren. Ready for the first competition. 
Men's Snowboard: Remi Meum heat started to lose his kite. He got a new kite, and the guys continued to heat to crash with each other in one set. Was this truly Norway's best riders? Remi finally pulled the longest straw and can style himself with this year's champion title. 
In ski freestyle class was also very much good kiting. Finally, it was a duel between the local heroes Bjorn Kaupang and Terje Halstein Farm. The veteran world champion Bjorn Kaupang won in the end. 
The girl was class skiing and snowboarding combined. 

Saturday was the kite-cross. It was windy. Kite Cross was a new exercise. The heat was run with 6 pcs. Here, too, went Remi Meum emerge victorious from the snowboard class and Bjorn Kaupang victory in the ski class. The girl class, it was Caroline Onarheim who emerged victorious in snowboard class, while Valerie Bertrand as the only starters emerged victorious in the ski class. 
  
Sunday there was only one record left on the program, race. The day came with the brilliant sun and wind. This race was conducted, with good pressure in the kites.
