Ladies this is a must for anyone living or visting Sydney.
The Sydney Comedy Festival has been running in Sydney for the past 2 weeks and will conclude this Sunday 9th May. There are so many different comedians here from all over the world and they are playing at venues all over Sydney.
I have been lucky enough to see Mitch Fatel, Jeremy Hotz and Michael Chamberlin in solo shows at The Metro and Enmore Theatres. I also had the great experience of seeing a friend of mine, Michael Hing, in his duo act HING AND MAGEE: Illustrious physicians of Love at the Parade Theatre in Newtown. I can tell you now that i now know way more than I need to about this High School friend of mine!
Best of all- I got to go to one of the ensemble shows with multiple comedians THE GREAT COMEDY DEBATE. It's one of the highlights of the festival and it included the talents of Tahir from Fat Pizza, Tom Ballard from Triple J, Craig Hill of Scotland, Sketch and rhyme- hip hop comedy, Amelia Jane Heart - very loud and funny lady, and Al pitcher- a riot from England/NZ! I was in stitches and nearly fell off my chair during this show as they debated whether Modern music had killed rock music. So much dancing and so many innapropriate jokes- GOLD!
But don't worry, you haven't missed out!
There are shows on every day this week including the awesome MOTHER OF ALL COMEDY SHOWS this sunday 9th May.

Laughter is the best medicine, so if this autumn weather is running you down the festival will certainly pick you back up!!
