About Me
Have always loved travelling nutured by my parents who took us somewhere different each year when we were children (always driving distance of home in Wagga Wagga NSW) I've always been independent but I didn't start travelling overseas until I was about 30 years old (had gone to New Zealand when 23 and turned 24 when I was there but it didn't really count) Before that I had travelled to Kakadu and the Red Centre as well as most of NSW and also Adelaide to Melbourne. In 1991 I took 3 mths off work & went to Thailand, India & Nepal. In 1993/4 I had 9 mths off work and went to Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Zanzibar, Botswana & Egypt) then to Turkey, Greece, Italy and England. I met the man who became my husband in Turkey (he's English) and on later trips we explored more of the UK and France. In 2007, after living together in Australia for 12 years, we decided to move to France-have lived in the Vienne region of France since May 2007.
